Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Sports writers from every part of Texas are gathering for the annual tournament. Many of them help sponsor teams in their home districts and arrange for their champions to make the trip to Fort Worth, Texas. Sitting at a ringside table, behind a typewriter, left to right, are Bill "Tiny" Scurlock and Bill Haworth. Mr. Scurlock is a writer for the Beaumont Journal. He is dressed in a suit. Mr. Haworth, is with the El Paso Times. He is wearing a dress shirt, necktie, sweater, and a blazer.
