Description

The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Sports writers from every part of Texas are gathering for the annual tournament. Many of them help sponsor teams in their home districts and arrange for their champions to make the trip to Fort Worth, Texas. Sitting at a ringside table, behind a typewriter is Harry Cuthbertson, of the Wichita Falls Times Record News. He is dressed in a hat and a three-piece suit. He is smoking a cigar as he watches the fights. A crowd of people are sitting in the stands in the background.
