Description

The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Squaring off in a light-heavyweight battle, left to right, are Albert Hansen and Bill Anderson. Anderson, of Fort Worth, Texas, is shown driving a jab onto the jaw of Hansen, of Odessa, Texas. Anderson went on to win two matches but was declared out of the tournament the next day on account of a chest injury.
