Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Two heavyweight army men are shown squaring off in the ring. Left to right, they are Sergeant Bennie Brast, of Fort Sam Houston, and Private Bob Traweek of Goodfellow Field in San Angelo, Texas. Sergeant Brast is shown pursuing his opponent, after connecting on a hard right. He went on to score a knockout against Private Traweek, his second of the tournament.
