Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in the lightweight division, left to right, are Cotton Gunter and Woodrow Glover. The boxers are shown in the second round after a hard punch from Gunter, the Dallas, Texas, representative. Glover, of Big Spring, Texas, is on his way down and is attempting to grab his opponent for support. Glover went down a few seconds later and Gunter won with a technical knockout.
