Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Competing in one of the toughest fights in the tournament, left to right, are Elbert Yoes and Marvin Bryant. Bryant is a welterweight from Dallas, Texas, while Yoes is a native of San Angelo, Texas. Yoes is shown backing away from the walloping right fist of Bryant. The referee is standing in the background, watching the action. Bryant went on to win the battle and will face Sammy Bates.
