Description

The 1942 Golden Gloves State Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Prior to the opening fights, the boxers are being weighed and examined at the Golden Gloves Gymnasium in the Medical Arts Building. Carrying their registration slips, left to right, are Darrell Harris and Jesse Points. Both men are representatives from Denison, Texas. Harris is a 187-pound heavyweight while Points is a welterweight. They are both dressed in button-up shirts, letterman jackets, and trousers.
