Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC / R. O. T. C.) sponsors manifested as much curiosity as the cadets at a demonstration of infantry equipment at Jennings Avenue Junior High School by a special unit of the 36th Division. Shown here is a machine gun demonstration by Sergeant (Sergt.) Manuel Ornelas. Watching the demonstration are, left to right, Captain (Capt.) Merritt F. Harrison, commander of the demonstration unit; Lieutenant Colonel (Lieut. Col.) Eugene V. Behan, Fort Worth Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC / R. O. T. C.) head; Cadet Colonel (Col.) James Anderson, Cadet Colonel (Col.) Jerry Sullivan, Cadet Sponsor Betty Copeland, all of Paschal High School. All are dressed in uniforms.
