Description
Two Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) cadet sponsors showed interest in the radio equipment of a 36th Division command and reconnaissance car, while two sergeants of the 141st Infantry showed interest in the sponsors. Left to right are Sergeant (Sergt.) W. T. Murphy, Cadet Sponsor Sally Carmichael of Polytechnic High School, Sergeant (Sergt.) George E. Krutilek and Cadet Sponsor Betty Copeland of Paschal High School. The four are sitting in a military vehicle. Cadet Sponsor Carmichael is wearing a pair of headphones. Cadet Sponsor Copeland is holding a mouthpiece and smiling. The command car was one of the vehicles in a demonstration of the modern arms of the infantry.
