Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Preparing for the competition, left to right, are Jose Andreas and Raymond Kane. Andreas is a quick flyweight, originally from Mexico. He was the state champion in 1940 and is looking to reclaim the crown. Kane is in the bantamweight class and is one of the favorites to move on to the state tournament. They are standing in front of a bare wall, both wearing boxing gloves and shorts.
