Description

The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Preparing for the start of the competition, left to right, are Donald Nasche and Jack Osteen. Nasche is one of three brothers participating in the Golden Gloves. He is part of the lightweight class and is a favorite to advance. He will face Arlo Roye in the first round. Osteen is a talented bantamweight and a contender for the title. They are standing in front of a bare wall, both wearing boxing gloves and shorts.
