    Description

    The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Preparing for the competition, left to right, are Buster Burrell and Pee Wee Holton. Burrell is in the middleweight class and is one of the favorites to win the division. He was the state champion light heavyweight in 1941. Holton is a 178-pound heavyweight fighter. The boxers are standing in front of a bare wall, both wearing boxing gloves and shorts.
