Description
The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Receiving a trophy from Bob Bethea is boxer Bill Anderson, right. "Third time's charm," Anderson said as he accepted the trophy for winning the light heavyweight district championship. He scored a knockout victory in the first round. Mr. Bethea is a member of the Golden Glove awards committee. He is dressed in a hat and a pinstripe suit.
