The 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament is being held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Engaged in a fierce fight for the welterweight title, left to right, are Johnny Perales and Jack Osteen. They are pictured in the third round of the brawl. Osteen went on to win the close competition.
