Amateur boxers from all around the area are preparing for the 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Three of the latest and biggest entries in the tournament, left to right, are Jasper Peugh, Howard Jewett, and James Townson. All three men are employees of Merchants Cold Storage Company. Peugh and Townson are light heavyweights and Jewett is a heavyweight.
