Description
The high school state quarterfinals game is being played at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Battling to advance to the Semifinals are the Ysleta Indians and the Wichita Falls Coyotes (white jerseys). With the ball at the one-yard line the Coyotes called a running play with their great passing back, Gene Hill (2). Hill is shown attempting to leap over fallen linemen and dive into the end zone. The Indian defensive front stood strong and made the stop. Roger Brown (73) is the Indian defender in the foreground. The stop was only momentary. The Coyotes scored on the next play and went on to win the game 21-0. The stadium is full of audience members and poles in front of the bleachers have loud speakers pointed at the stands.
