The Alabama Crimson Tide is facing off against the Texas A&M Aggies in the 1942 Cotton Bowl in Dallas, Texas. The Crimson Tide represents the Southeastern Conference while the Aggies represent the Southwestern Conference. The talented Crimson Tide halfback, Jimmy Nelson (60) is shown shooting through a gap up the middle for a touchdown. The score gave the Tide a 20-7 lead. Also pictured for the Tide is quarterback Al Sabo (19) and Mitchell Olenski (83). The Aggie in pursuit is Marshall Spivey (10). Alabama went on to win the game 29-21.
