Description
Ed Lowe is the head coach of the Handley High School football team, a mentor to students, an instructor in mathematics, and the business manager of athletics. He is standing outside wearing his "Coach Hat" and blowing a whistle. The hands-on-hips pose is one that several hundred Handley football players have seen during Coach Lowe's thirteen years. Coach Lowe is dressed in a hat, sweater, leather jacket, light colored sweatshirt over a dress shirt and pin-striped trousers. There is a book in his jacket pocket. He has a wrap of tape on his left hand index finger. "(Star-Telegram Photos by Tom Dillard.)" Published Star-Telegram Morn. Dec. 11, 1941.
