Amateur boxers from all around the area are preparing for the 1942 Golden Gloves District Tournament in Fort Worth, Texas. Cleatus Munn is a 142-pound freshman at Texas Wesleyan College. He is entering his first Golden Gloves tournament, where he will compete in the Class A division and train down to the lightweight division. Mr. Munn is shown walking through campus with books under his arm. He is dressed in a collared shirt, sweater, and trousers.
