Description
The Texas Christian University football team is hosting the visiting Southern Methodist University at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. The Frogs big back Nolan Sparks, 24, is having a game to remember. He took the ball on a reverse from Kyle Gillespie. Sparks is shown roaring around Mustang left end (29) and racing for thirty-five yards. The blockers out in front of the run are Frank Medanich, Frank Kring, Bruce Alford, and Captain Bill Crawford. Sparks tallied a total of ninety-eight yards in the Frogs' 15-13 victory. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram evening edition, December 2, 1941.
