Description

The Texas Christian University Horned Frogs are hosting the visiting Rice University Owls at Amon G. Carter Stadium in Fort Worth, Texas. Bob Brumley (30), Rice halfback, proved tough to handle, charging the Frogs with savage power. The husky Owl ball-carrier is shown being tackled by Frogs Phil Roach (80) and Bob McCollum (38). Brumley gained six yards on the carry. Good defensive play and cold weather led to a scoreless deadlock. Published in The Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 23, 1941.
