Description
A high school football game between the North Side Steers (dark jerseys) and the Paschal Panthers is being played at Farrington Field in Fort Worth, Texas. On the first play of the fourth quarter Panther passer Phil Becker threw a ball down field intended for Jerry Sullivan (63). But the ball sailed too high and several Steer defenders are scrabbling to intercept the pass. They are Dean Roberson (52), Johnny Sherrod (54), Bobby Putnam (51), and Twain Morrow (61). Sherrod is show tipping the ball back into the air and Roberson caught it on the deflection. He was downed on the Steers forty-three-yard line. The Steers went on to win the game 7-0.
