Description

A new Army Air Corps facility, Sloan Field, is rapidly taking shape near Midland, Texas. The new training facility will provide twin engine advanced training and a bombardier school. The Sloan Field barracks and service building are shown completed and ready for occupancy. Lieutenant Colonel Isaiah Davies is the commander of the school and Major H. R. Baxter is the executive officer.
