Description
The Texas Wesleyan College football team is hitting the road to play Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Some of the Ram fans are following the team on the T. W. C. special train. Rehearsing on the railway platform before the train pulls out is Graham Bevel. Watching the bandsman, left to right, are Miss Nan Cashion, Miss Elaine Daniels, and Miss Dorothy Jo Garlington. Mr. Bevel is a member of the college band. He is playing his trombone and dressed in a band uniform. Miss Cashion, of Fort Worth, Texas, is wearing a hat and a coat with mink fur around the collar. Miss Daniels, also of Fort Worth, is dressed in a hat, collared blouse, and a coat with a fox fur collar. Miss Garlington, of Electra, Texas, is dressed in a felt hat, a Persian lamb coat hat, necklace, and gloves. Published Star-Telegram Morn. Nov. 1, 1941.
