Description

The Texas Wesleyan College football team is hitting the road to play Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Some of the Ram fans are following the team to support them on the road. Traveling with the team, left to right, are Weyman Cotton, Miss Billy Pittard, Miss Doris Gathins, and Hardy Fortenberry. The mixed quartet is getting together to try out their vocal chords. Cotton, of Iola, Texas, is a member of the Rams' basketball team. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, plaid shirt, letterman jacket, and jeans and carrying a jacket. Miss Pittard, is from Anson, Texas. She is wearing a blouse, blazer, and a plaid skirt, pearl necklace, broach of a drummer, wearing a large ring and carrying gloves. Miss Gathins, of Fort Worth, Texas, is wearing a dress and a fur vest and a wrist watch and bracelet. Fortenberry, of Greenville, Texas, is also on the Rams' basketball team. He is dressed in a cowboy hat, plaid shirt, letterman jacket, and jeans and carrying a jacket. Cotton, six-foot-seven-inches and Fortenberry, six-foot-four-inches, tower above their classmates.
