Description
The Texas Wesleyan College football team is hitting the road to play Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Some of the Ram fans are following the team on the T. W. C. special train. While engineer C. G. Woods was outside oiling the locomotive, Miss Jeanette King mounted the cab. Fireman L. A. Tutt is lending an approving smile as she is about to pull the throttle for the non-stop run to Brownwood. Miss King is a freshman at T. W. C. She is wearing a mum and is dressed in a hat, coat, and a scarf. Mr. Tutt is wearing a conductor's hat, collared shirt, necktie, and overalls. The letters for Atcheson, Topeka, and Santa Fe (A.T. &) show below the pair. Published Star-Telegram Morn. Nov. 1, 1941.
