The Texas Wesleyan College football team is hitting the road to play Howard Payne University in Brownwood, Texas. Some of the Ram fans are following the team on the T. W. C. special. Peering out the train window, left to right, are Professor F. R. Matthis, Everett McLendon, Mrs. Glee Matthis, and Miss Lynelle Kebelman. Professor Matthis is one of the most enthusiastic supporters of college football on the T. W. C. faculty. He is dressed in a suit. Mr. McLendon is a Fort Worth, Texas bandsman. He is wearing a peaked cap and a suit. Mrs. Matthis is the daughter-in-law of the professor. Miss Kebelman, of Fort Worth, is wearing a coat and a scarf. Published Star-Telegram Morn. Nov. 1, 1941.
