Description
Fort Worth's rejuvenated Little Theater aims to be everyman's theater. It hopes to be a democratic meeting ground for persons of every walk of life with a mutual love for the theater. The actors and workers behind the scenes have much to do with the success of a production. The Little Theater's second production of the season will be "First Lady", sophisticated drawing room comedy laid in Washington, D.C. with Gene Crotty directing. The hardest workers in the Little Theater's drive to re-establish itself as a part of the civic and cultural life of Fort Worth are Mr. and Mrs. Charles R. Take, in charge of the annual membership drive. The married couple are shown sitting at a table together. Mr. Tate is talking on the talk, as his wife looks on with a notepad and pencil in her hand. Mr. Tate is wearing a textured suit and eyeglasses while Mrs. Tate wearing a jacket with horse pin on the lapel. The table has a glass covering and below the glass are various pictures and documents for display. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 23, 1941.
