Description
Fort Worth's rejuvenated Little Theater aims to be everyman's theater. It hopes to be a democratic meeting ground for persons of every walk of life with a mutual love for the theater. The actors and workers behind the scenes have much to do with the success of a production. The Little Theater's second production of the season will be "First Lady", sophisticated drawing room comedy laid in Washington, D.C. with Gene Crotty directing. Tommy Knight, left and his industrious young scene-builders, (left to right) Ann Barham, Dennis Kamp, Winta Beth Crawford and Wayne Stokes are working on props. The crew is shown working on various set pieces for their upcoming production. Mr. Knight and Mr. Kamp are knelt down painting a wooden prop. Miss Barham is wiping down a window piece, Miss Crawford is painting a wall and Mr. Stokes is painting a door. The women are wearing dresses and the mean are wearing trousers and dress shirts. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, November 23, 1941.
