Three hundred members of the Business and Professional Women's Club (B. & P. W.) have mobilized for national defense training on multiple fronts. Participating in the training program, left to right, are Mrs. Sheldon H. Wilson, Mrs. Floyd Sweet and Mrs. Berta Womack. The Club is pledging to invest one day's salary a week in defense stamps, study first aid, and register their special skills in a national campaign. Some of the special skills they are learning are food preparation, first aid, and nursing. The sixth civilian defense training program is focusing on teaching home nursing, enabling the these women to carry on in minor emergencies. Mrs. Wilson is the president of the B. & P. W. She is wearing a collared blouse and a blazer. Mrs. Sweet is chairman of the British war relief committee. She is dressed in a hat, button-up blouse, brooch, and a blazer. Mrs. Womack is chairman of the club's advisory committee. She is wearing a velvet dress and is holding a booklet titled, "First Aid."
