Portrait of Dr. E. M. Waits, president emeritus of Texas Christian University (T. C. U.) by artist Wayman Adams. The painting will hang in the Mary Couts Burnett Library. Dr. Waits is seated before a background wearing a black academic robe with black velvet stripes and a hood given him in 1923, when he was awarded an honorary LI D. degree at the University. This photograph was published in the October 29, 1941 evening edition of the Star-Telegram.
