Colonial power possessions included on map in lower right color coded key, beside small cross sectional profile of mountain heights. Map focuses on cities, towns, and landforms within Africa instead of various countries within the continent. Engraved with original outline hand color. Close up of Algeria included in lower left. The map has extensive detail on Arabian cities and general primary cities of Southern Europe. Single paged, single sided, horizontal map. Boundary lines of colonial power holdings distinguished by region(s) and color. . Simplified cartouche located in upper right corner. Verso is blank without centrefold. 36 cm. x 43 cm.
