Description
Interior of the Dan D. Hartnett Grocery, west side of the courthouse square, 100 block of South Main Street, Weatherford, Texas. Two men and a woman are behind a long counter. On the counter is a meat slicer, a cash register and a scale. Behind them are shelves of canned food above which has been constructed a wall made of boxes of Post's Bran Flakes. At the back of the store bottles and jars of food. On the right side of the store are bushel baskets and bins of fruits and vegetables. The men are dressed in three-piece suits and ties. The woman (seated) is wearing a sweater. Electric lights hang from the ceiling.
