The Ancelin and Hartnett Families Papers were curated by Mary Ellen Guay, the daughter of Remy Ancelin and Daisy Agnes Hartnett. The Ancelin family immigrated to Texas from France and the Hartnett family immigrated to the US from Ireland. Members of the Ancelin, Hartnett, and Neighbor families lived in Weatherford, Texas, Parker County, and Tarrant County and intermarried. Several members of these families became prominent members of their communities, establishing several businesses, serving in the military, and joining religious orders.
