Work Projects Administration (W. P. A.) nursery schools display at the "American Hands in Action" exhibition held at Will Rogers Memorial Coliseum, Fort Worth, Texas from April 25-May 14, 1939. The very small display contains a children's table with chairs in dinnerware. There is a small bed in front of two girls' outfits on hangars and attached to a small wall shelf. There are three large cardboard children in the area. Above the wall shelf is a poster with information on W. P. A. schools and includes 8 photographs depicting various school-related activities. There are three women in the photograph; one is dressed as a nurse, while the other two are wearing dresses and hats. Immediately behind the women is an exhibit on food canning.
