Abstract
Body Mass Index (BMI) is the height to weight measurement used to determine if a person is at a healthy body composition. Research shows that students who drive 16 minutes or longer to campus are 64% more likely to have a BMI of 25 or over. Fitness of an individual also depends on other variables such as relative maximal oxygen consumption (VO2max), maximal heart rate, time of exercise, and percent body fat.
