Abstract
Censorship is not unique to the US. Our October 3 Focus on Faculty lecture by Assistant Professor Lonny Harrison offers a look at the role of government censorship in Russian cultural life, and how some of the great works of political and artistic expression flourished in spite of it. This lecture is part of the UTA Library Banned Books Week events (Sept. 29 - Oct. 6) and is co-sponsored by the Friends of the UTA Library.
