Description
Promotional poster for "Jumbo," a Broadway musical show about a circus, produced by Billy Rose. The show was performed at the Texas Centennial in 1936. Jumbo tells the story of a financially strapped circus. The poster has a blue background. The foreground includes a trapeze artist in the upper left corner. On the lower right corner is a female circus performer riding a white horse and holding a riding crop in her right hand, looking up at the trapeze artist. The word "Jumbo" in yellow and red is very large at the center of the poster. "Billy Rose's" is smaller and located next to the trapeze artist.
