Grave of Pompey Factor at the Brackettville Seminole Indian Scout Cemetery. Black Seminoles Indigenous Scouts were part of a fierce and crafty group of United States warriors who were an essential part of taming the west. This is part of a project to tell and bring forth an unnoted history of Black Seminole Indigenous contribution to United States conquest of the West. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram Sunday edition March 25, 1990.
