Image shows Dr. Harry Middleton, left director of the Lyndon B. Johnson Library in Austin; Mrs. Kathrine Deakins and Amon Carter Jr., president and publisher of the Star-Telegram, receiving special awards at the Newsmakers Ball. Dr. Middleton accepted an award for Mrs. Lady Bird Johnson and Mrs. Deakins and Carter received an award made to the Amon Carter Foundation. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition February 15, 1975.
