Description
Lily B. Clayton Elementary School will open its doors as usual on the first day of school, largely because of the efforts of involved parents to increase the enrollment of the small school. They have set up a child care program aimed at nurses who work 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. who need before-school care and a short period of after-school care. Mrs. Jo McCormack, left, is the new principal of the school and Mrs. Sharon Hudson Smith is the director of the child care program.
