Description
About 130 people attended the formal opening of the Japanese Gardens at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden on March 29, 1973. Attending were five native Japanese women, now Tarrant County residents, who advised and assisted in creation of the gardens. Looking into the "Garden of Meditation," are, left to right, Mrs. Donald Nuss, Mrs. William P. Bass, Mrs. Gerald Crabbs, Mrs. William Yamada, and Mrs. Jerry Alyine.
