    Description

    Two men received minor injuries after their light plane lost power during an afternoon rainstorm and crash landed at the Bell Helicopter plant near Saginaw. The pilot, Robert A. Whitley, 32, said he and a passenger were practicing instrument approaches and had taken off from Meacham Field about 2:50 p.m. when they lost power in their Cessna 172.
