Description
Martha Corboy of Arlington, coed at The University of Texas at Arlington, tried hard to win at the "jousting event" (apples in a tub of water) but she came in last. Her contact lens got in the way each time she bent to grab an apple in her mouth. The event was one of 14 at Winter Olympics at UTA. Published in Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition November 17, 1967.
