Description

The three west entrance doors of Montgomery Ward & Company's newly opened Ward Plaza facility at E. Berry and S. Riverside Dr. posed a small problem for the thousands of persons who flocked to the ribbon-cutting ceremonies early Wednesday. Eyes, squinting from the Wednesday morning sunlight, opened wide as the citizen poured into the store for opening day sales and gift items. Wards new store will be open from 9 a.m. to 9 p. m. Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays; and until 5:30 p.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays. Fort Worth Star-Telegram Evening edition July 27, 1961
