Image shows sixteen high school milers take a turn in the Southwestern Recreation Track and Field Meet at Farrington Field. It shows Bob Eklund Brady, leading with Wayne Nance, Dallas Forest, second but both faded later while Dale Imel, bare chest, ninth, of White Deer came out and won over Stuart Dowlen, Amarillo. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 18, 1951.
