Image shows a track meet. It is shown that Raymond Maxwell (24) of Stamford lunges for the finish line in a high school mile preliminary heat of the Southwestern Recreation track meet at Farrington Field. Four unidentified track runners. Maxwell finished first, Lamesa's Johnny Randolph, center, finished second and Brownwood's Robert Boles finished third. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, March 17, 1951.
