From a series of images from Eastland, Texas, the county seat of Eastland County, related to the expanding oil development. John Hart, left, former sheriff and later county judge, has one of the oil wells in the Bankline Owen pool on his land. Next to him stands A. M. Hearn, who also has a well on his land. Published in the morning edition, February 25, 1951.
