Description
Image shows a crumbling building at Fort Chadbourne, in front of the building is the remains of an abandoned Army wagon on the O. D. Ranch in Coke and Runnels Counties. Nearly 100 wells have been completed in the pool bearing the name of the old fort established in October 28, 1852. Published in the Fort Worth Star-Telegram morning edition, February 11, 1951.
