Description
When Assistant Crowley Fire Chief Harry Teeter sounded the siren of the town's new fire truck for practice, kids came careening around all corners. He then showed them the water pump mechanism. The children, left to right, are, Patricia Ann Tummons, Elaine Burgner, and Ernest Clayton Farris, all age 8. Published in the morning edition, February 11, 1951.
